Orrego. This study Antenor Orrego had as principal aim establish the relation between labor satisfaction, institutional commitment and educational performance of the teachers of the faculty of medicine of the private university. There was realized a descriptive, transverse study and correlacional, including 103 teachers of Medicine with ages understood between 30 to 55 years, which they were teaching between the first one to fifth cycle, during the semester from March to July, 2012.To evaluate the level of satisfaction, I apply to them the scale of punctuation of type Likert (from the 1 to 5); in the factor of Satisfaction for the Institution there obtained an average of 14.14 which indicated us that the teachers had an epithet of WELL, in the Factor of Remuneration they obtained an average of 13.31 which I indicate that the teachers had an epithet of WELL, in the factor of Labor Tension there obtained an average of 9.55 which indicated us that the teachers had an epithet of REGULATING, as for the factor according to his Labor Condition they obtained an average of 10.61 which indicated us that the teachers obtained an epithet of WELL. On having examined for dimensions the commitment it is situated: the affective one with a strong correlation in the teacher and not necessarily the group of teachers with time of work of 7 to 10 years in the University; while the areas regulation, calculated and the global one only a presentation moderated in the commitment by the labor headquarters. To the analysis of simple regression between labor satisfaction and educational performance it brings a positive and significant correlation between these variables; nevertheless, there exists a negative and not significant correlation between institutional commitment and educational performance, which suggests that not necessarily to feel compromised with the institution determines a better performance. One concludes that there exists significant and positive influence of the labor Satisfaction with the educational performance, but significant influence does not exist not positive between the institutional commitment with the educational performance of the teachers of Medicine of the Private University Antenor Orrego. |
