Resumen : | Objetivo: Determinar si la Bleomicina t iene mayor efect ividad versus Crioterapia en
las Verrugas Periungueales de los pacientes en el servicio de Dermatología del
Hospital Belén de Trujillo.
Material y Métodos: En un estudio retrospectivo de cohortes en el que se tomaran
120 Verrugas Periungueales, teniendo en cuenta los puntos para seleccionar a ambos
grupos y así tener dos grupos: Verrugas tratadas con Bleomicina y Verrugas tratadas
con Crioterapia; aplicándose las pruebas estadíst icas de chi cuadrado y riesgo relat ivo.
Resultados: Al aplicar el estudio no tenemos disconformidad respecto a: edad, tiempo
de enfermedad, intensidad del dolor, ni localización de las lesiones entre los grupos de
estudios expuestos a Bleomicina o a Crioterapia.
La efect ividad de la Bleomicina en el manejo de Verrugas Periungueales fue de 85%
y la efect ividad de la Crioterapia en el manejo de Verrugas Periungueales fue de 40%.
La Bleomicina tiene mayor efect ividad en relación con la Crioterapia en el manejo
de Verrugas Periungueales con un riesgo relat ivo de 2.12 el cual fue significat ivo
(p<0.05).
Conclusión: La Bleomicina tiene mayor efect ividad comparada con la Crioterapia en
el tratamiento de Verrugas Periungueales en pacientes en el Servicio de Dermatología
del Hospital Belén de Trujillo. Objective: To determine if Bleomycin is more effective versus Cryotherapy in Periungual Warts of patients in the Dermatology Service of the Belén Hospital in Trujillo. Material and Methods: In a retrospective cohort study in which 120 Periungual Warts were taken, taking into account the points to select both groups and thus have two groups: Warts treated with Bleomycin and Warts treated with Cryotherapy; applying the statist ical tests of chi-square and relative risk. Results: When applying the study we do not have significant disagreement regarding: age, time of illness, intensity of pain, or location of the lesions between the groups of studies exposed to Bleomycin or Cryotherapy. The effectiveness of Bleomycin in the management of Periungual Warts was 85% and the effectiveness of Cryotherapy in the management of Periungual Warts was 40%. Bleomycin is more effective in relation to Cryotherapy in the management of periungual warts with a relative risk of 2.12 which was significant (p <0.05). Conclusion: Bleomycin is more effect ive compared to Cryotherapy in the treatment of periungual warts in pat ients in the Dermatology Service of the Belen de Trujillo Hospital. |
