Tipos de participación de los foristas del diario digital el comercio, sobre noticias de la huelga médica, entre julio y octubre de 2014

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación describe cuáles son los tipos de participación de los foristas del diario digital El Comercio sobre noticas de la huelga médica entre julio y octubre de 2014. Es una investigación cuantitativa que tiene naturaleza descriptiva. Se analizó la participación de los foristas que a través de la Ficha de Registro de Observación, se recogen los datos y observaciones de 54 noticias, donde se analizaron 330 comentarios en el diario digital. Tal es así que, la participación de estos foristas no es frecuente y, en gran medida, los foristas suelen publicar sus comentarios a nivel superficial, es decir, sin argumento. Por lo tanto, se arriba a la existencia de una relación estrecha entre la participación de los foristas y la interacción entre los mismos. Se extrae que hay interacción entre los foristas cuando la participación de uno de ellos suele ser del tipo crítica al tratamiento noticioso o al hecho noticioso. Asimismo, los tipos de participación predominantes en la investigación son del tipo Crítico y Proactivo. Los comentarios, respecto al tema de investigación, provienen, en gran medida, del género masculino; sin embargo, la cuota de foristas que no especifican su género es cinco puntos porcentuales mayor al género femenino.

This investigation work describes the types of participation of people in forums of the digital newspaper El Comercio about news of the medical strike between July and October 2014. This is a quantitative investigation with a descriptive nature. The forum participants’ interactions were analyzed through Observation Registration Forms, the information and observations of 54 pieces of information, where 330 comments in the digital newspaper, were analyzed. The participation in these forums is not frequent and, to a large extent, participants normally post superficial comments, that is, without any argumentation. Therefore, we come to the conclusion that there is a close relationship between the participants and the interaction among them. There is interaction between the participants when their participation is usually critical of the news or the fact. Likewise, the types of participation which prevails in the investigation are critical and proactive. The comments, in regards to the investigation topic come, to a great extent, from the males; however, the quota of participants who do not specify their gender is 5 per cent greater than the female ones.
