To determine the factors associated with the level of knowledge in prehospital care of Interns of Human Medicine. MATERIAL AND METHODS: An applied study was conducted through a personal data survey and a questionnaire with multiple selection questions to Interns of Human Medicine at the Regional Hospital of Loreto, during the years 2016 - 2017. The Chi square test (X2) For association of factors and will determine the level of association of the variables. RESULTS: The level of knowledge about emergency prehospital care in Interns of Human Medicine was 75.85 with a regular level, 12.1% had a poor level and only 12.1% reached a good level. We found a relationship between the interns who took a prehospital course and the level of knowledge in prehospital emergency care versus those who did not take it (p <0.05). It was shown an association between the gender factor and the level of knowledge in prehospital care in the Interns of Human Medicine where 100% of interns with a pre-hospital knowledge level were good (p <0.05) CONCLUSIONS: The level of knowledge in prehospital emergency care of the Interns of Human Medicine is regular, having a significant association with the gender factors and having taken a prehospital course. |
