Relación entre ansiedad y comportamiento en niños de 6 a 8 años de la IE Alto Salaverry en su primera visita al Odontólogo

Abstract

La ansiedad comienza a desarrollarse en edad pre-escolar con el inicio de la conformación de nuevos patrones de comportamientos; los cuales se van adquiriendo en el contacto social con amigos y otros adultos, incluyendo al dentista y a su ambiente odontológico. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la ansiedad y comportamiento en niños de 6 a 8 años en su primera visita al odontólogo. Material y métodos: Se aplicó la escala de ansiedad dental de Corah (EADM) y la escala de valoración del comportamiento de Frankl, a los niños de la I.E Alto Salaverry. Resultado: La ansiedad, según edad y género entre ambos es de 47.8%, por lo cual no existe diferencia estadística, con respecto al comportamiento según edad y género entre ambos es de 45.7%, no existe diferencia estadística , finalmente podemos decir que la condición del comportamiento esta en relación a la ansiedad en niños en su primera visita al odontólogo.
